Aside from the wineries, there is also a cool distillery and a growing list of breweries too, so I've added them to this list along with a WONDERFUL cider house that you really must visit for the gorgeous view, great cider and even declicious food!  If you are here just for a weekend, these are a good place to start - we think they are some of the best.  I'll also note here that there is something special happening on Closson Road. Not only are there a number of great wineries, but there is a terrific lavender farm, an adorable alpaca farm and now a cool bicycle rental shop. For sure make Closson Road a desitnation.

If you come back to The County, there are MANY more you can try as well :) You can click HERE to see ALL of the wineries The County has to offer.  If you want to take in a lot and don't have a designated driver - you can hire a limo so you don't have to worry. Here are a few options:  Sandbanks Vacations & Tours; PEC Culinary Tours and Spotlight Limousine.

Last we heard, there are over 50 wineries in the Prince Edward County region. We have been to quite a few and while we are not experts, we know what we like and our favourites are below.  Most of these are also in beautiful settings and offer interesting tasting experiences. You can click HERE for a map to see where these are generally located.
