We have visited this truck often, everything on offer is SO so good. I love this truck so much, I had to draw it (above and here is more on Rebecca Hunt and her incredibly talented husband who is a local artist). My favourite is her pickerel Po' boy sandwich. She mostly does catering but from what I understand, she should be stationed at the Wellington Farmers Markets during the season.

We were finally tried a French Fry truck that was always parked in the parking lot at Canadian Tire. His fries are great, and he also has other fare such as pulled pork sandwiches. I can't find an official site for him - but I know he is open every day, somedays to 7 pm and there are ALWAYS people in line, which shows how great this truck is :)

We had heard a lot about this guy - and were lucky to sample some of his great food when we found him parked at a fundraiser we attended. VERY good BBQ. Check out his Facebook page for updates on menu items. Here is an example: Smoked chicken sandwich, cranberry dijonnaise, celery, green oninions and Hagerman's greens stacked on a toasted brioch bun. Yum!!
She is on the move - catch her if you can!!
Chef Amanda Nichol operated this truck last year on Gilead road. I believe she does tons of catering for private events and it's easy to understand why as the food is terrific. On the day I stopped by - burgers, southern fried "Hells chicken sandwiches", chicken and waffles, catfish pogo sticks and poutines were on offer. I had the chicken sandwich and it was awesome, super crunchy and just enough of a kick (not too spicy). I went back the next day and had a catfish sandwich and it was equally delicious. They do offer options for those who have food allergies too. Worth seeking out for sure. Follow her on Instagram @blacksheepcannery for updates on when and where you can find her!!

So, she is not technically IN The County, but I feel like she might be the gate-keeper somehow :) The lovely Chantal Jeffrey has parked her truck on Highway 33 just as you are approaching the island, you can't miss her truck. We stopped by on our way back to Toronto one day to see what the fuss was all about. I've seen her food described as Quebecois comfort food. If you are into poutine - this truck is for you! Great hamburgers, jerk chicken and more. Chantal has a terrific energy and her food is great.
Food trucks & carts are all the rage in big cities now AND they are in The County too! Below are a few that we have tried. I have included links to either their own site or to their social page if they exist so you can see if and where they will be in the county on the day(s) that you are visiting:
